Tactic :
This Tactic of the 7 Sorrows is the Tactic that Mary gave Her visionaries at Kibeho in Rwanda. The Rosary is traditionally begun with an Act of Contrition and the Hail Marys for Faith, Hope, and Charity. The Special Introductory and Concluding Prayers are given in English and Latin below, but, other than the Act of Contrition, they are The Battering Ram 2k's own translation and verse. If any better exist, use that.

Introduction :
-
Optional : O God, I offer Thee this Rosary for Thy Glory, so I may honor Thy Holy Mother the Blessed Virgin, so that I may share and meditate upon all Her suffering. I humbly beg Thee to give me true repentance of all my sins. Give me Wisdom and Humility, so that I may receive all the indulgences contained in this prayer.
-
Act of Contrition : O God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee and I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of Hell ; but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin. Amen.

Conclusion :
Queen of Martyrs, Thy Heart suffered so much. I beg Thee by the merits of the tears Thou sheddest in these terrible and sorrowful times to obtain for me and all the sinners of the world the grace of complete sincerity and repentance. Amen.
O Mary, Who wast conceived without sin and Who suffered for us, pray for us! 3 times.

Lore :
Much of the Lore here for the 7 Sorrows Rosary and Devotion was derived from the excerpts of Saint Alphonsus Maria de Liguori's The Glories of Mary, wherein can be found substantially more history, anecdotes, and lore.
There were once 7 wealthy men in Florence who came together in 1233 and resolved to consecrate themselves to God. Therefore, they went to live outside the city, on Monte Senario, as hermits. Mary, however, appeared to them with a black habit of mourning and told them to meditate on Her Sorrows and propagate Her devotion. These Servants of Mary, or Servites, fashioned the 7 Sorrows Rosary and the Black Scapular of the 7 Sorrows of Mary to encourage and form their devotion. Our Lady also revealed this Rosary to Saint Bridget of Sweden.
In the 1300s, devoted especially to the Passion of Jesus, Saint Bridget encouraged devotion to the 7 Sorrows and received the Promises of Mary recorded below. Additionally, our Lord also gave 4 Promises to Saint John the Evangelist, who was physically present for 4 of Mary's Sorrows. After Mary had been assumed into Heaven, Saint John desired greatly to see Her again and was granted a vision of Her asking Her Son to grant special graces to those who honor Her by Her Sorrows. Our Lord replied with the Promises below. Thus Saint Alphonsus Maria Liguori relates, describing Saint John's vision through another vision that Saint Elizabeth of Hungary had.
Our Lady, Mother of the Word, also appeared in Kibeho, Rwanda, from 1981-1989. The Account is here in The Voice in the Darkness.
Promises / Promisa :
The 4 Special Graces for those devoted to the Sorrows of Mary ; received by Saint John the Evangelist ; learnt by Saint Elizabeth of Hungary in a vision ; and so related by Saint Alphonsus Maria Liguori in The Glories of Mary, (here adapted for clarity) :
-
Those who invoke the Divine Mother by Her sorrows before death will merit to obtain true repentance of all their sins.
-
Jesus will protect them in their tribulations, especially at the hour of death.
-
He will impress upon them the memory of His Passion, and they will be rewarded for it in Heaven.
-
He will commit them to Mary’s hands, Who will do with them as She wilt and obtain all the graces She desires for them.
Promises to those who recite at least 7 Hail Marys daily while meditating on Her Sorrows, received by Saint Bridget of Sweden :
-
I will grant peace to their families.
-
They will be enlightened about the Divine Mysteries.
-
I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them in their work.
-
I will give them as much as they ask for as long as it doth not oppose the Adorable Will of my Divine Son or the Sanctification of their souls.
-
I will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives.
-
I will visibly help them at the moment of their death : they will see the face of their Mother.
-
I have obtained this grace from my Divine Son, that they who propagate this Devotion to my Tears and Dolors will be taken directly from this earthly life to Eternal Happiness, since all their sins will be forgiven and My Son will be their Eternal Consolation and Joy.
